What We Are Doing
The See Me, Hear Me docuseries is meant to highlight and amplify the individual stories of unhoused community members of Minneapolis in their own voices. Additionally, we aim to expose the misinformation, corruption, lies, theft, lack of response, displacement, and blatant abuse from the city. Encampment evictions directly correlate to our unhoused neighbors being disengaged from outreach services and support.
Our Community Steps Up
Generous donations from friends, family, community, and neighbors have graciously given us the opportunity to assist our unhoused community members. We’ve provided coats, boots, gloves, scarves, blankets, luggage, hand sanitizer, warmers, water, sandwiches, fruit, Band-Aids, bacitracin, alcohol wipes, syringes, needles, sharps containers and naloxone. I have also been able to help with wound care, chronic disease management, and connection to community resources and services.
